Review | OPI Nail Polish in "All Sparkly and Gold"

"All Sparkly and Gold"

OPI's "All Sparkly and Gold" came out in the OPI Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 Collection. As the name suggests, this sparkly gold nail polish is perfect for the holidays, as either a nice glitter top coat or completely on its own.

Let's get in to the review!

The polish has a clear base but is made entirely of gold glitter. The gold is not a very yellow gold, it's a more pale gold that leans slightly silver. For a glitter top coat, one coat is perfect. If you want to use the color on its own, you will need two coats for total opacity.

As a glitter top coat, this lasts a little longer on the nails than it does just on its own. On its own, this lasted about 3 or 4 days before I noticed chipping, so the formula doesn't have very good staying power on its own and is rather thin in consistency.

However, the texture is amazing! It applied very easily on the nails and looks absolutely stunning and smooth on the nails.

If you're looking for just a glitter top coat, this is definitely a good pick, the color is stunning! However, if you're looking for a sparkly gold polish to wear just alone, keep looking around, this chipped too easily on me to recommend it.

While I am in love with the color, the lasting power killed it for me.

OPI polishes retail for around $9 at Ulta, Target, Walmart, and other mass retailers that carry OPI.
