Bliss Hide & Glow Sleek Firming and Luminous Tinted Body Spray Review
Bliss Hide & Glow Sleek Firming and Luminous Tinted Body Spray

I recently received the new Bliss fatgirlslim Hide & Glow Sleek Firming and Luminous Tinted Body Spray from work. This product is new to the Bliss line and I thought before you guys shovel out the money for it, I would give you my thoughts on how it performs!

This retails for $38 at Ulta and the Bliss Website, is available in two shades, and comes with 4 fl ounces of product.

Let's get in to the review!

This innovative tinted body spray claims to tint the skin to provide a temporary luminous glow while firming the skin.

The product comes packaged in a sleek white can with a pink spray nozzle.

The shade I have is the darker of the two available, Medium to Deep Glow. The shade is a very warm orange toned brown with shimmer. If you layer it up beyond two layers, and you have light to medium skin tones, it will look very orange!

The product itself it very light, not moussey or a lotion, but not thin or runny. It is very easy to blend out and into the skin without leaving streaks or obvious lines on the skin.

Due to the shimmer in the formula, your skin does have a shiny, luminous look to it after the spray dries. By no means is it glittery.

If you have very fair skin tones, specifically pink undertones, pick up the lighter shade Fair to Medium. The Medium to Deep shade will look straight up orange. Anyone with light or medium skin tones can use Medium to Deep. If you have a dark skin tone, the Medium to Deep may not show up or may look odd on such a deep complexion.

And a must have for me, this is paraben-free!

This tinted body spray is temporary. It will wash off with a shower or fade after about 2 to 3 days. The tint is completely staining and looks more natural on the skin more than the traditional tanning mousse or lotion. It also is not as intense of a tan. This provides just a "glow", not a "tan".

If you already have a tan, this will just emphasize your tan and make it glow. If you're fair or light skinned with no tan, this will just provide you with a luminous sheen with a teeny weeny bit of color.

Overall, while it does not have an offensive smell and doesn't leave any streaks, $38 for a nice glow is too much. It doesn't do any firming and the shimmer could be more subtle. If you just want to enhance your tan, it's worth having, particularly for the summer when more skin is showing. It's a nice addition to your self tanning routine but is not necessary.
