It's that time of the month again, time for monthly favorites! I did not do an April Favorites, and I don't have too many favorites for this month. I have been attempting to use up several makeup products the last few months, which you guys will see very soon in an empties post!


With that in mind, here a few items that I have been absolutely LOVING this past month, and products I would highly recommend trying out for yourself!

I recently purchased this from Ulta when I used my reward points, and boy am I glad I did! I absolutely LOVE this peel! It has made my skin softer, smoother, my acne scars fade, and has prevented new acne from forming. I think every skin type, except sensitive skin types, will benefit from having this in your skincare routine!

Laura Geller Spackle Treatment Hydrating Make-up Primer
$30 (2 oz)

I have had this primer in my collection for a while, I haven't touched it until this past month, thinking I would just use it up. I actually ended up loving it! It has a lotion consistency that blends into the skin so much better than my silicone feeling primers. It helps pro-long the wear of my makeup and makes putting on foundation much easier. Don't be afraid of the "hydrating", I have oily skin and this did not make my skin any oilier throughout the day. Every skin type can use if you need an everyday primer to help keep your makeup lasting all day.

It Cosmetics YLBB Your Lips But Better Lip Pencil in "Pretty in Pink"
$20 (0.017 oz)

I'll admit it, this is the first lip liner I've ever owned. I know. This lip pencil from It Cosmetics claims to be "a hydrating primer, and long-wear stain that doesn't dry out lips and keeps your favorite lip product in place". The color I have is "Pretty in Pink", a medium neutral pink, is great for wearing under any lip color. It definitely helps pro-long the wear of your lip color, it gives any lipstick that velvet matte look, but I would say it is not hydrating. I have been in love with putting this underneath any lipstick to give my lips a fuller pout and give 6 hours of lipstick wear. Milani Color Statement Moisture Matte Lipstick in "Matte Blissful"
$5.49-$5.99 (0.14 oz)

The Moisture Matte lipsticks from Milani are relatively new. "Matte Blissful" is a gorgeous light baby pink with slight lavender tones. PERFECT for Spring and Summer! It's not too pastel or too neon. The formula of these lipsticks is creamy but does have that silicone texture that helps keep the formula from sliding off the lips. I have been loving this with a simple matte eye look for a pop of color. Definitely check it out!
