If you're a lover of liquid lipstick, finding a non-toxic formula that also stays put is challenging to say the least. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks are a cult favorite for a reason; pigmented, long-wearing, and for the animal lovers---they're cruelty-free (but not vegan). But I believe I have found a clean swap for Anastasia!  Let's get started!

The highlighter trend of 2017 would not have been complete without the release of the COVER FX Custom Enhancer Drops...AKA liquid metal highlight in a tube. This liquid highlighter is intensely pigmented and can be worn alone, on top of your foundation, or mixed in. While the Custom Enhancer Drops are Cruelty-Free and Vegan, some of the ingredients are not so friendly. So let's talk about the clean product you can swap it out for!

Time for the Holy Grail of Swaps today! The cult favorite Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is one of the most popular mascaras for big fat voluminous lashes. While your lashes may look amazing, the ingredients in this mascara are far less than fantastic. So let's discuss a cleaner and safer option for big fat voluminous lashes! (Both mascaras are Cruelty-Free and Vegan.)

Time for another clean swap! This time it's featuring some holographic gems! The newly released Kat Von D Alchemist Palette features 4 pressed powder holographic shades. While Kat Von D is Cruelty-Free and mostly Vegan, the ingredients are not the cleanest. But while searching for new eyeshadows, I came across a brand that offers an almost exact clean dupe for the Alchemist Palette! Both options are Cruelty-Free and Vegan. Let's get started!

A good mechanical brow pencil is hard to find, but the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz is a cult favorite---and for good reason. It mimics the look of real brow hairs and has an extensive shade selection for every hair color and skin tone. BUT, the ingredients are less than stellar. One brand that has released a non-toxic mechanical brow pencil is Honest Beauty, and I'd say it's worth the swap! Let's get started!

I cannot believe I have not shared this safer swap with you all yet! Once my favorite long-wearing lipsticks, the LORAC Alter Ego Lipsticks offer high pigmentation with all day wear. However, their ingredients are not as amazing.  I have found a much safer option that offers the same all day wear with amazing pigmentation! Let's get started!

Time for another non-toxic swap! This time it's bronzers!  Once my favorite bronzer for fair skin, the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer is a classic light brown tan color that looks beautiful and lasts all day---but with Talc, Phenoxyethanol, and artificial fragrance as ingredients, I have found a pressed matte bronzer that is almost an exact dupe but without the nasty ingredients! Let's get started!

I am changing up this SWAP FOR SAFER. Instead of showing you guys a toxic product and it's non-toxic counterpart, I will be showing you a product category with a non-toxic recommendation. Todays category is setting powders. Often formulated with synthetic fragrances, talc, and other potentially harmful ingredients---swapping for a cleaner option is a must! Highlighters are the finishing touch to any makeup look, and BECCA Cosmetics reigns supreme with their Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed formulation.  The texture is soft and silky while the pigmentation and high shine reflection is second to none, BUT the ingredients are less than desirable.  Check out this cleaner option from Lily Lolo!

Time again for another Swap for Safer! Today's dirty product is the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush. These blushes are well known for their long-wearing and buildable formula.   Despite Tarte being a Leaping Bunny and PETA Certified Cruelty Free Company, these blushes still contain questionable ingredients, and I was determined to find a long-wearing powder blush with clean ingredients! Swap For Safer: MAC Lipstick in "Blankety" It's that time again for another "Swap For Safer". Today's safer option is a dupe for the MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in the shade "Blankety". I absolutely love this nude shade! It's the best cool toned nude shade for my skin tone, and it looks gorgeous with a smokey eye. However, MAC Lipsticks do not have the cleanest ingredients, so when I was at Sephora recently, I was determined to find a non-toxic dupe for it. Let's get started!
