I recently spotted the Wet n Wild Limited Edition for Spring 2015 Silver Lake Collection at my local Walgreens. There are 5 6-Pan Eyeshadow Palettes in this collection. Many Wet n Wild fans will remember their much loved 6-Pan Palettes from years ago, hopefully this means they'll be bringing them back!

Of the 5 palettes available, 2 were tones of blue and green, not really for me, one was a combination of bright red and green, I'm not that adventurous, one was a beautiful combination of neutral browns, perfect for me but I already so many neutrals. 

And lastly was this beautiful pink toned palette, Thrift Store Chic. Each palette retails for ONLY $3.99 at select Walgreens and CVS locations.

The palette features 6 powder eyeshadows with a mixtures of finishes:

• Metallic Yellow Toned Ivory (Similar to MAC Nylon)
• Glittery Light Cool Toned Pink with flecks of pink glitter
• Glittery Medium Cool Toned Pink with flecks of pink glitter
• Matte Salmon Pink 
• Glittery Dark-Medium Warm Toned Pink with flecks of silver glitter
• Frosted Dark Cranberry Red (Similar to MAC Cranberry)

The best performers of the palette were the metallic yellow toned ivory, it was very smooth, creamy, and pigmented, the frosted dark cranberry red, also very pigmented and smooth, and the glittery light cool toned pink, while it is a total glitter bomb, it's very pigmented and applies easily onto the eyelids.


The matte salmon pink wasn't very pigmented, and it was a struggle to get color payoff, and the two other glittery pink shades were very very powdery.


If you don't like glitter, I would pass on this palette. If you love glitter and pink tones, for only $3.99, pick it up!


And, most importantly to me, the palette is paraben-free!

I was able to create almost an entire eye look using just this palette. I added a matte medium brown as a transition color. The look came out very pretty and lasted all day!

The shadows did not crease when I applied them over a primer and the color intensity lasted all day!

Overall, the quality of the eyeshadows is mixed. If you love pinks and love Wet n Wild eyeshadows, definitely pick it up, for only $3.99, why not?! If you already have some pinks in your collection, pass on this one. I personally really like the palette, but I do wish the the matte pink and two darker pinks had been creamier.
