October Beauty Favorites

October Beauty Favorites

Firstly, Happy Halloween! I hope you all are enjoying this festive holiday and are having a safe time trick-or-treating or partying it up! I have a fairly short monthly favorites for you guys this month.

I skipped September Favorites, I honestly didn't have anything new or loves, it was a boring month for makeup. October is great time for makeup, all the new Holiday Collections have arrived, bringing me so much joy and my wallet a little lighter.

Here's what I've been loving for October!

MAC "Sumptuous Olive" Eyeshadow

$16 (0.04 oz)
MAC, Macy's, Nordstrom

This single shadow from the permanent line is a gorgeous khaki green with a shimmery finish. It is intensely pigmented, blends easily, and lasts all day.

I have been loving this as an all-over lid color with a deep pinky red in the crease, the contrast between the colors is perfection and screams Fall! The green in this shade looks beautiful against brown and green eyes especially.

If you've been looking for a new Fall color to add in with your neutrals, this one is it!

Wet n Wild "Bordeaux Bitten" LE Mega Last Lipstick

$2.49 (0.11 oz)
Walgreens

The Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipsticks are by far my favorite lipstick formula, they're long-lasting, highly pigmented, and they have almost every shade in the rainbow!

This Limited Edition shade from the Halloween 2015 Collection, "Bordeaux Bitten" is a stunning deep cool toned red that perfect for every skin tone and for those looking for a vampy lip color that's not too dark or too purple.

If you can't find the Wet n Wild Halloween 2015 Collection at your local Walgreens, try out the shade "Cinnamon Spice" from their permanent line. "Cinnamon Spice" is slightly more brown toned. "Urban Night" from the Wet n Wild Fall 2014 Collection and "Urban Nights" from the Wet n Wild Halloween 2014 Collection are both almost identical if you have those still in your collection.

Bite Beauty "Coulis" LE Matte Creme Lip Crayon

$25 (0.031 oz, As Part of Set)
Sephora

Another one of my favorite lipstick formula's is the Matte Creme Lip Crayons from Bite Beauty! These retractable lip crayons are also highly pigmented, glide on very easily to the lips, and last over 6 hours! Plus, they're 96% natural.

One new shade in particular has become my go-to red! The shade "Coulis" is a bright raspberry red from their "Best Bite Rewind" Holiday 2015 Set.

This color is the perfect slightly cool-toned red that every skin tone can wear and rock during the holidays. If you need a red that will wear all day or make your teeth look yellow, I highly suggest picking up this set before it sells out!

It Cosmetics OMG 106 Foundation Brush

$24
Ulta

This foundation brush by It Cosmetics is not your standard foundation paddle brush. The bristles are not cut too sharp and do not shed after washing the brush. The quality is amazing!

I've been using this brush for everything, blending out concealer, applying cream highlighter, any cream product can be applied and blended out with this brush! While not my favorite for applying foundation, it is a must have if you use concealer on a daily basis like I do.
