|Physicians Formula Organic Wear Work It!|
There are so many new products at the drugstore, and since transitioning to more natural beauty products, there was only a few products I was really interested in. One of which is the new products from the Physicians Formula Organic Wear line!
The Physicians Formula Organic Wear Work It! Marathonista Tinted Moisturizer SPF 40 retails for $14.99 (1.2 oz) and is available online and in-store at Ulta, CVS, and locations that carry Physicians Formula.
Let's get in to the review!
Physicians Formula claims this is:
"Revolutionary do-it-all formula combines the benefits of a tinted moisturizer with skin-nourishing natural & organic ingredients and high-performance natural sunscreens. Ultra-lightweight cream delivers heavy-weight performance that keeps you perfected & protected through even your toughest workout: Hydrates, Nourishes, Protects + Defends, Soothes, Brightens. 100% of the Ingredients are of Natural Origin. 70% of the Ingredients are Organic."
This product also claims to be 10K, gym, sweat proof, and water resistant.
The product comes in a plastic squeeze tube. Perfect for travel and storage. I personally really love the upgraded bright neon colored packaging they decided to go with! It's very eye catching and makes me want to grab for it.
There are 2 shades available, which is a major downside. There's "Light" and "Light/Medium". I purchased the shade "Light". If you have a fair to light skin tone, I think the shade "Light" will work for you. If you have a medium skin tone, I'd say "Light/Medium" would be a good shade match. If you have a very fair porcelain or very deep skin tone, unfortunately, there isn't going to be a shade for you.
The shade "Light" is a mostly neutral light beige color. To me, the color leans slightly warmer with yellow undertones than cooler with a pink undertone.
For reference, I picked the shade "Light". That shade was about half a shade too dark, but I am able to make it work. I wear 1N1 in the Estee Lauder Foundations, 1.0 in Urban Decay. I would say I have a fair/light skin tone with neutral undertones.

The consistency of this tinted moisturizer is a soft cream. It's not too runny, or thick like a mousse. I found that it was very easy to apply and to blend into the skin. It did not cling to dry patches or become streaky when blending it out. It feels very hydrating on the skin.
This is a sheer to light coverage tinted moisturizer. I would not say the coverage is build-able. However, if you pair this with a powder on top, it does increase the coverage to medium or full. I love pairing this with the Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Powder for added coverage and longevity.
It provides a natural dewy finish to the face. If you have very oily skin, you may not like the natural shine this adds to your face, however if you have normal to dry skin, this may be the perfect lightweight everyday product to use on your face.

Concealer underneath, Set with Translucent Powder
I am very impressed with the longevity of this tinted moisturizer, particularly because I have oily skin and finding products that stay on all day without becoming uneven is difficult. I achieved about 8 to 9 hours of wear time before this started to break apart around my chin. This was without a primer worn underneath.
I did have to blot away the excess oil on my face after about 6 hours. If you don't have oily skin, you don't need to worry about this.
It did not immediately settle into my fine lines or emphasize the uneven texture on my face.
Comparison to Original Organic Wear Tinted Moisturizer
Check out my full review of the original Physicians Formula Organic Wear Tinted Moisturizer HERE.
When I compare this Work It! Tinted Moisturizer to the original Organic Wear Tinted Moisturizer, they both give a natural dewy finish and sheer to light coverage to the face.
The Work It! has a little bit thicker of a consistency, but is not difficult to blend. Unlike the original, which had an natural herbal scent, this one did not have any noticeable scent.
And where I see the biggest difference from the original, the Work It! Tinted Moisturizer has much better longevity. With the original, it wore well for only 5 hours, that was with a primer and powder. The Work It! wears well for over 8 hours and does not settle into my fine lines.
If I had to pick between the two, I'd say I really love the Organic Wear Work It! much better than the original. It has better staying power and looks better as the day goes on.

Overall, I love this tinted moisturizer! While the shade selection is terrible, because it is a sheer/ light coverage, the shades can work for multiple skin tones. It provides a beautiful naturally dewy finish to the face that works best for normal to dry skin types. It does work for oily skin types, but be aware you will have to blot throughout the day. The formula has excellent longevity, does not irritate the skin, and it's 70% Organic. I think anyone who is looking for a natural looking face product to just even out your skin tone, you'll love this!
