The Vitamin C Serum is a lightweight jelly-like formula with a light gold yellow hue and a pleasant grapefruit smell. About three drops of the serum is all you need to properly cover your face and neck.

 

The consistency isn't too tacky or runny, and blends well into the skin. It leaves no sticky or tacky feeling on the skin. I recommend pressing the serum into the skin as opposed to rubbing it in and applying before your toner and moisturizer.

The Vitamin C Serum comes packaged in a completely recyclable glass dropper that is coated white to prevent light from oxidizing the formula. 

After applying the Vitamin C Serum nightly, I did notice an improvement in the discoloration around my mouth and nose, which is my problem area. I can't say that my skin felt more hydrated than usual, or see any visible improvement of my skin's texture and enlarged pores.

Vitamin C is not photosensitive, so you can use this product morning and night. I recommend applying this product in the morning as opposed to the evening to see the most benefits. Vitamin C can help protect your skin from the sun's UV rays when they are at their strongest during the day.

Do not use in combination with Benzoyl Peroxide or retinoids as they can cause the vitamin c to oxidize and counteract the effects of the serum. They can be used in the same day, just not at the same time (i.e. one in the morning and the other night). But always remember to apply sunscreen to finish off your skincare routine!

I would recommend the Vitamin C Serum for anyone that has mild to moderate discoloration due to sun damage or signs of aging. You will still need a good moisturizer and facial peel to see visible improvement and lessen the appearance of long term sun exposure or severe signs of aging.
