The cocokind Ceramide Barrier Serum retails for $21.99 (1 oz) and is available on the Cocokind Website*, in-store and online at Ulta, Target, and Whole Foods.

The Ceramide Barrier Serum is a lightweight jelly-like formula with a semi translucent white hue with a slightly sweet smell. About two-three drops of the serum is all you need to properly cover your face and neck. 

The consistency is thin but not tacky and blends well into the skin. It leaves no sticky or tacky feeling on the skin. I recommend pressing the serum into the skin as opposed to rubbing it in and applying before your toner and moisturizer.

The Ceramide Barrier Serum comes packaged in a completely recyclable glass dropper that is coated white to prevent light from oxidizing the formula. 

After applying the Ceramide Barrier Serum daily, my skin did appear noticeably more plump and hydrated, and the lactic acid from the serum has also helps prevent recurring acne breakouts.

To limit risk of photosensitivity, you should use this product at night. However, you can use it during the daytime, just remember to apply an SPF as the last step in your skincare routine. 

Do not use in combination with other exfoliants on your skin such as over-the-counter retinol, prescription-strength retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, or other alpha (AHA) and beta (BHA) hydroxy acids.

I would recommend the Ceramide Barrier Serum for anyone who has mild to moderate discoloration, stubborn acne, and mild visible signs of aging or dullness. I pair this serum with the Paula's Choice BHA Toner and a hydrating moisturizer to see optimal results for hydrated glowing skin.
