SWATCHES | Revlon Super Lustrous and Super Lustrous Shine Lipsticks Swatches

L to R: Raspberry Bite, Plum Velour, Pink Cognito, Temptress

These are the 4 Revlon lipsticks I have currently in my collection. Two from the Super Lustrous line, and my most recent find, two from the new Super Lustrous Shine collection.

Let's get into the swatches!

L to R: Raspberry Bite, Plum Velour, Pink Cognito, Temptress

This first lipstick is number 745 "Raspberry Bite". It is a Creme finish. The color is a very dark red-berry wine. It wears well and lasts for 3 to 4 hours before needing to reapply.

The second is from the Super Lustrous Shine line, number 850 "Plum Velour", is a beautiful medium plum/berry color with slight sheerness. These from the Shine collection have a natural high shine to them aren't as opaque but the darker shades do tend to be more opaque than the lighter shades.

The third, also from the Super Lustrous Shine collection, number 820 "Pink Cognito", is a very subtle nude pink. At first I wasn't sure if I liked this one, but after wearing it a little while I like it. It's subtle, but if you need an every day color, this is a good choice. Though you would need to reapply it quite often. It is quite sheer so I wouldn't wear this if you're looking for a bold nude lip, maybe just for a light makeup day.

And lastly, from the Super Lustrous line, a creme finish, number 680 "Temptress", is a wearable pink with subtle shimmer. This is one of those colors that everyone can wear during the day. Although it does need to be reapplied after a couple hours.
