I've really been into the dark nails for the Fall season, and because I'm not dressing up for Halloween this year I thought I would give you ladies a nail tutorial that goes perfectly for Fall and you can rock on Halloween to be a little festive without looking tacky. I used a dark purple and rose gold shade, but you can choose any contrasting colors you'd like. A deep red and black or blue and copper would look amazing too! Now that the Fall season is in full swing, I thought I would share my favorite lip shades for the Fall! Here's three shade options for every level of comfort and style! The first and most wearable shade option is to rock a darker brown toned nude . This is the perfect transition from an every day nudey pink to the darker shades of lipstick we come to love for the fall. I finally had a chance to swing by the Dollar Tree and Big Lots to see if they had any new makeup! Low and behold the Dollar Tree had a bunch of new Milani Cosmetics products! Big Lots had a lot of new Maybelline, Sinful Colors and Revlon nail polishes to pick through! From the Dollar Tree I picked out 2 of the Milani Infinite Liquid Eye Liners in 04 "Forever" and 02 "Endless" . There was one other shade in a cobalt blue, but I didn't think I could pull off the blue. They are the traditional liquid liners. These ones claim to be waterproof and last 24 hours. I finally purchased my first Maybelline lipstick over the past weekend. When swatching it, I found I had two Revlon lipsticks that was almost the exact same color so I want to compare the three and give my opinion about the formulas. The Maybelline ColorSensational lipsticks have a smoother texture than the Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks. It was an easier application and less patchy than the Revlon as well, and are very opaque . They have a good color range, from nudes, reds, pinks, to plums. These Maybelline lipsticks retail around $5 to $8 depending on the store. The Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks formula is a little dry for my taste, but does last 3 to 4 hours before needing to reapply. I don't like the way these look on my lips, they look cakey and just very dry. These Revlon lipsticks retail around $5 to $8 depending on the store. The Revlon Super Lustrous Shine lipsticks have a smoother texture than the original, but are much more sheer , which I don't mind....
