The Best Physicians Formula Products

This week, Physicians Formula is 40% off at Ulta! As the line is one of the pricier lines available at the drugstore, and you can always top the sale off with their $3.50 off $10 coupon, I thought I would give you guys my take on the best Physicians Formula products!

Some of these products I no longer have in my collection, but I would recommend none the less.

While most of Physicians Formula is paraben-free, there are some great products in the line that do contain parabens, so I will not being recommending those products.

Let's get in to the list!

Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Face Powder

$13.99 (0.3 oz)
Ulta, Target, Walmart

This face powder is the perfect medium to full coverage powder foundation for someone with normal to oily skin or someone with acne prone or sensitive skin.

The powder blends into the skin beautifully without leaving the skin looking heavy or cakey, but gives you enough coverage to hide any imperfections you may have.

It is a must-have if you're in the market for a full coverage powder without any harsh or harmful ingredients. Just be sure to read the label, as the old formulation does contain parabens.

Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder

$13.99 (0.29 oz)
Ulta, Target, Walmart

Full review HERE.

This correcting powder is a funny product. It's ability to correct isn't why I particularly love it. If you already have moderately good skin, no harsh discoloration or redness, then this will provide a sheer wash of color and will leave a matte finish to your skin.

What I love it for, and what most pale girls will love this for, is for setting underneath the eye. It can be very difficult to find an under eye setting powder that is light enough to highlight with. But this powder in the shade "Translucent" is perfect!

If you have dry skin, this may not be the best fit for you skin. But for under the eye, and as an overall setting powder, this is a great powder to try!

City Glow Daily Defense Bronzer SPF 30

$14.99 (0.38 oz)
Ulta, Target, Walmart

One of the newest products to Physicians Formula are the City Glow Bronzers. There are two shades. For lighter skin tones, go for "New York", this is lighter and more cool toned in color. For deeper skin tones, for for "Paris", it is deeper and more warm toned in color.

What I love about this bronzer is that it split into two colors so you can customize your color. Once you get past the gold glitter overspray, which I'll admit is very beautiful, the finish is a beautiful sheen with no chunky glittery or sparkle!

The bronzer applies evenly and doesn't pack too much of a color punch that you'll apply too much, the color isn't too orange, plus is has SPF 30 for added sun protection. It's the perfect bronzer for year round.

Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio

$11.99 (0.03 oz)
Ulta, Target, Walmart

Finding a pencil eyeliner that does not smudge or transfer throughout the day seems like a never ending journey. However, the Shimmer Strips Eyeliner Trios may just be the answer to that problem.

These liners are creamy enough that they apply easily and do not tug at the eye, but not too creamy that they bleed and smudge throughout the day. While they do not last over 12 hours, I see about 8 hours of wear before these liners start to fade around my eyes.

For those with particularly oily eyes, you will love the staying power of these liners. If you have more mature eyes, try something a little more creamy to achieve a more opaque line.

Shimmer Strips All-in-1 Nude Palette for Face & Eyes

$13.99 (0.26 oz)
Ulta, Target, Walmart

Also one of the newer products to the Physicians Formula line is their All-in-1 Palette for Face & Eyes. Multi-tasking products can be very hit and miss in terms of quality at the drugstore.

This product delivers great pigmentation, doesn't look chunky or too sparkly on the face or as eyeshadows, and gives you a wide variety of looks to choose from for the ultimate customizable palette! The powder is soft, creamy, and applies easily to the face.

The palette is a great highlighter for those of you working on a budget, or would like a product to try the "Strobing" effect. The high quality is there, and for the price you cannot beat it.

Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

$10.99 (0.016  fl oz)
Ulta, Target, Walmart

I have raved about this liquid liner numerous times here on the blog, so I'll be brief.

This liner is the perfect liner for creating those dark intense wings that won't smudge throughout the day. This is one of the few liquid liners on the market that is paraben-free. While not waterproof, the formula dries quickly and does not smudge or transfer.

The liner is available in three shades, Ultra Black, Black, and Dark Brown. If you get one thing from Physicians Formula, it needs to be this liner. If you like wearing liner that is. You will not be disappointed!
