100% Pure Friends & Family Recommendations

Now through January 20th, 100% Pure is having their Friends & Family 20% off sale! This sale is online and in-store, so if you're lucky enough to have a 100% Pure store located near you, now is the time to shop and take advantage of their in-store testers!

I was lucky enough to visit their Schaumburg, IL location this past weekend and try several new products and come up with a few recommendations in case you have not tried out the brand or are simply wondering what products are worth the purchase!

Every product here is Cruelty-Free as well as Vegan.

Let's get started!

Long Last Brows

This brow pomade applies evenly, smoothly, and is highly pigmented so you can achieve the appearance of a strong brow without the toxic ingredients! Available in 4 shades, I wear the shades Taupe and Medium Brown.

Fruit Pigmented Pretty Naked Palette II

A versatile cool-toned eye and cheek palette, the powders are very soft and have excellent pigmentation that anyone looking for a dark neutral look will love! If you prefer a lighter wash of color, the original Pretty Naked Palette is for you.
$45

Lip Caramels

The closest to a liquid lipstick that 100% Pure offers, these highly pigmented and creamy Lip Caramels apply and perform like a lip gloss. The term caramel accurately describes the look of the formula---like liquid caramel. The formula reminds me of the LORAC Alter Ego Lip Glosses. I would apply these on top of a lip liner or lipstick for the longest wear time.
$25

Cocoa Butter Semi-Matte Lipsticks

The newest lip products to be released from 100% Pure, the Cocoa Butter formula feels smooth and lightweight on the lips but packs an intense pop of color with a matte finish. The formula is most similar to the LORAC Alter Ego Lipsticks and Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons.
My favorite shades are Blood Orange, Currant, and Marrakesh.
$29

Bamboo Blur Powder

A truly clear and translucent loose setting powder, the Bamboo Blur Powder sets your makeup and helps your look last all day. The consistency of the powder is silky smooth and blurs the look of fine lines and pores. I would recommend this for all skin types and tones, particularly those with textured, uneven, and oily skin.

Fruit Pigmented Healthy Foundation

A medium coverage foundation, the Fruit Pigmented Healthy Skin Foundation is a great option for those who are looking for a traditional foundation to cover their acne marks, scars, uneven pigmentation, you name it. This foundation wears well for over 8 hours, helps control oil and shine, and pairs well with other face products. I would recommend this foundation for those with normal to oily skin types. I wear the shade "Creme".

2nd Skin Foundation

Their newest foundation, the 2nd Skin Foundation feels lightweight on the skin, has a thin consistency, and does not look heavy or cakey. I applied this product in-store with a sponge so I do not know how this applies with a brush. The foundation offers a medium buildable coverage with a flat matte finish, which I found odd for a foundation that is called 2nd Skin. But for someone with oily skin like me, this is an amazing foundation for wearing all day while controlling shine. HOWEVER, this will emphasize and cling to dry patches, so I would only recommend this to those with very oily skin. I wear the shade "Creme".

Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream

You may have noticed this is the only skincare item on the list. Well, truthfully I have not tried their newest skincare items and some of their product categories have not wowed me. That being said, the Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream is the perfect eye cream for anyone looking to hydrated the eye area, reduce puffiness, but doesn't need to reduce the appearance of wrinkles or tighten the eye area. Basically everyone under the age of 30 should own this eye cream. You will not be disappointed.
