REVIEW | Han Skin Care Cosmetics Malibu Bronzer

Malibu Bronzer

During my recent shopping trip to Credo Beauty, I decided to try out the Han Skin Care Beauty Malibu Bronzer. The bronzer retails for $16 (0.16 oz) and is available on the Han Skin Care Website, and Credo Beauty.

Han Skin Care Cosmetics is 100% Cruelty-Free, never uses Carmine, Parabens or any other chemically sourced preservatives, and strives to use only the most natural of ingredients to formulate its products.

The Malibu Bronzer is Cruelty-Free and Vegan.

Let's get started!

A matte milk chocolate bronzer for a healthy looking tan. It can also be used to contour to give dimension.

     Packaging

The bronzer is packaged in a plastic brown compact. I'm not a huge fan of plastic...or brown for that matter, but it's sturdy and is very travel and storage friendly.

While the pan is small, unless you're bronzing up your entire body, you will not go through this product too quickly.

     Product

The Malibu Bronzer is a matte light brown pressed powder with a slightly cool undertone. There is zero sheen or sparkle to the finish.

The color is similar in depth to the Honest Beauty Luminizing Powder in Dusk Reflection, but the color is more brown and matte. I prefer Malibu to Dusk Reflection to add dimension to my face without the added warmth that Dusk Reflection gives.

The bronzer features a very pleasant aroma (not an artificial fragrance) of cocoa. Reminiscent of the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzers!

The powder is pressed not too firmly into the pan so it is easy to pick up the product with a brush. Unlike many natural pressed powders, this did not kick up a lot of excess product or start to produce hard pan which can lead to uneven and patchy pigmentation.

The color would best suit those with a fair to light skin tone for a natural bronze or contour. For those with a medium to tan complexion, the Han Maui Bronzer.

     Performance

When applied with a loose synthetic brush, the bronzer appeared with completely even and opaque pigmentation over clean skin and foundation.

It paired well with other cheeks products including powder and liquid highlighters and powder blushes.

The Malibu Bronzer wore well for 10 hours without wearing down or becoming patchy when worn over foundation.

The powder in this bronzer does not appear chalky or emphasize dry skin or texture, so I would recommend this for all skin types.

     Overall

Malibu has an amazing formula that has the perfect amount of pigmentation and blendability! It does not become patchy or wear off throughout the day, and while the shade selection is pretty poor, only 2 options, if you were in the market for a fair or light skin bronzer or contour powder, definitely pick this up! For the price ($16) and the amazingly clean ingredients, you will not be disappointed!
