2014 Makeup & Beauty Favorites This year has flown by, and I for one am actually glad, because that means I can tell you all about the makeup and beauty favorites I have loved this year! Since starting to work at Ulta this past year, I've been able to try quite a few new things! Here we go!  Let's starting with the non-makeup! Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm I received this little beauty from work and have been absolutely in love with it this month! I never realized how dehydrated my eye area was until I started using this twice a day. The fine lines are less prominent and my concealer applies much easier and looks more natural under my eye. While I was swatching some of the single Urban Decay eyeshadows at Ulta recently, I noticed that the shade "X" is almost identical to the new shade I picked up from Prestige! The Prestige Total Intensity Eyeshadow in "Spellbound" is a light gold with a pink duochrome finish. The color is almost identical to Urban Decay's shade in "X" , though "X" is just slightly more pigmented. Both a beautiful wash of pink and gold duochrome, perfect for everyday. Urban Decay eyeshadow singles run for $18 each, whereas the Prestige Total Intensity shadow in "Spellbound" retails for $8.49. I recently picked up some new goodies from Ulta over this past weekend! Here's an overview of some of the things I picked up. Let me know if you guys would like additional reviews on any of these products! Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat This was a re-purchase item. This top coat retails for $9.95 at Ulta . This is my favorite top coat. It seals in the color and adds a shiny finish to the nails that locks in the color and prevents chipping on my nails for at least 4 days. Definitely a great top coat! Highly Recommend! Eco Tools Six Piece Day-To-Night Clutch Set 5 Eco Tools Day-To-Night Brushes This clutch set becomes with 5 individual full size brushes; 4 eye brushes and 1 face brush. This summer has really flown by! This month was my birthday month so I got a few new goodies to try! Here's my beauty and makeup favorites for the month of August! Prestige Total Intensity Eyeshadow in "Hocus Pocus" I picked up this single shadow by Prestige at the end of July from Ulta for $8.49 . I am absolutely loving it! The pigmentation is insane and I love the duo chrome finish of this shade! I've received many compliments when I've worn this. I'm definitely going to pick up a couple more shades! These are quickly becoming my favorite shadows ever! After watching a haul video by Melissa Autry on Youtube, which she bought some of the Prestige Total Intensity Long Term Relationship Eyeshadows, I decided to pick up the shade "Hocus Pocus" ! These retail for $8.50 at  Ulta , Rite Aid , and Prestigecosmetics.com . The Prestige Total Intensity Long Term Relationship Eyeshadows are a pressed powder eye shadow that come in a square compact. They are 2 grams, so they are just slightly bigger than a MAC eye shadow. The texture of these shadows are AMAZINGLY soft and creamy ! And the pigmentation is insane! Just check out the pictures below! "Hocus Pocus" is a teal green brown duo chrome shade with a metallic glittery finish . This reminded me a lot of the Urban Decay Moon Dust Eye Shadow in "Zodiac" but without the glittery fallout and more teal than green. I received a $5 off coupon from Ulta recently and I had some $1 off Rimmel coupons that were about to expire so of course I needed to use them! Here a few things I picked up from my local Ulta. Full reviews will be coming soon. The first thing I absolutely needed to pick up was the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat . This is my holy grail nail polish top coat. I missed it too much to go without it any longer. It does cause some shrinkage to the nail polish but the lasting power makes up for it. This retails for $9.95 at Ulta . The next thing I picked up was sort of an impulse buy on the recommendation of Melissa Autry (melmphs) on Youtube. She did a haul recently that featured the Prestige Long Term Relationship Fierce Color Eyeshadows . She said the pigmentation of these are insane!
